Our BG FIT bike fittings’ advantages
BG FIT technicians receive training on the anatomy of the muscles and bones involved in cycling motion, common cycling aches and pains, and the adjustments required to treat these problems.
Pre-fit interview: Our skilled technician will do a quick conversation with you to discuss your needs, goals, and injury history before beginning any fit, regardless of your level of experience.
Assessing your flexibility and other physical characteristics, such as your foot structure, knee position, spinal curvature, shoulder extension, hip flexion, and leg length, among other things, gives you a clear image of your flexibility.
Side view: This evaluation of your riding position uses your bike’s side perspective. By modifying the seat, handlebars, stem, and cleats, the objective is to achieve the ideal neutral position that is both effective and pleasant.
Analysis of the hip, knee, and foot alignment from the front for maximum effectiveness and balanced power delivery. This involves examining how you sit on the seat squarely as well as the location of the pedal and shoes.
Follow-up: A week or two later, the technician gives you a call to talk about how well the changes worked and to address any other queries or worries you might have.
After evaluating your pedal stroke, we can place BG footbeds and varus/valgus wedges to align your feet, knees, and hips for optimal comfort and efficiency.
